LaVonna Gates: Post 2020. I still have my place in Texas. I still have the passion for forms of massage and herbal health. But in February of 2020 I married a friend from long ago. Miracles do happen. Life is very good in spite of how shook up our world became in 2020. I am leaving the original profile information as it is me as well - I am a Natural Health Practitioner but I'd rather call myself an herbalist. I live on a farm in Texas. I am not married. Been there, have the tee shirt but like my life now so much better. Some folks just were not made for it I guess. But I am at peace with the life I have. No children, I do kinda hate that. At my age there should be grandchildren. I often say that I want to adopt a 30 year old with sweet kids. But back to my qualifications...I have been an activist for natural health as long as I remember and a practicing herbalist since 1981. Sometime now. I continue classes and I teach classes. This blog is a class of sorts. This is my life and this is the story. Anyway, welcome, fix a cup of herb tea and sit down with me for a bit. Maybe we will both learn something.
